The club introduces students to modern methods of studying the Earth using satellite imagery, mapping services, and geoinformation technologies. Participants learn how natural phenomena, environmental change, and the state of forests, water bodies, soils, cities, and agricultural land are observed from space.
In class, students learn to analyze satellite images, work with spatial data, compare changes on the ground, and draw conclusions based on real data. The club is a good fit for school students interested in geography, ecology, technology, maps, environmental research, and the practical application of science.
