The club introduces students to the basics of developing websites and other web applications. During the course we develop both creative skills — design and animation — and algorithmic thinking — programming. We work with tools and services such as Figma, MS VS Code, and others. 

The core technologies studied are HTML and CSS; we also work with the basics of JavaScript.

Also covered:
‣UI (User Interface): the visual design of buttons, menus, fonts, and color palettes.
‣UX (User Experience): designing convenient navigation, transition logic, and functionality.
‣Multimedia elements: integrating photos, vector graphics, interactive maps, and full-screen video.
‣Motion design (Animation): using dynamic effects, parallax scrolling, and micro-interactions.

Students get plenty of practice during the course, namely building their own projects according to a technical specification.
